Avatar star Sam Worthington joked he’d bribed movie hunk Zac Efron to say nice things about him on the Oscars red carpet after Efron showered him with praise. Asked what he liked best about blockbuster Avatar, Efron pointed to Worthington and said: “Got to be honest – you man. This guy. You are the guy, man.” Zac joked with Sam about all the 3-D technology involved with his movies and said “I’ve seen you in every possible D, man!”

Worthington quipped: “Easiest 100 bucks I’ve ever paid.”

Worthington, who was joined on the red carpet by his girlfriend Natalie Mark, recalled his single days, when as a struggling actor he was living in a car. He told E! host Ryan Seacrest: “I was living in a car. You don’t date a bloke who lives in a car!” Thanks, monstersandcritics.com

Zac Efron was solo on the red carpet, but told USA TODAY’s Claudia Puig he was going to meet up with sweetie Vanessa Hudgens later. What does he think about the movies that are up for Oscars? “Avatar is such a visual treat. The Hurt Locker – I can’t take my eyes off it.”

I recall that, The Death And Life Of Charlie St. Cloud is about Charlie St. Cloud – a young man who overcome by grief at the death of his younger brother. So much so that he takes a job as caretaker of the cemetery in which his brother is buried. Charlie has a special lasting bond with his brother though, as he can see him. Charlie meets up with his brother (Sam) each night to play catch and talk. Then, a girl comes into Charlie’s life and he must choose between keeping a promise he made to Sam, or going after the girl he loves.

I can’t wait to see these movie, you have to wait long, because premiere will be 15th October… //Thank you Claudia for a tip!

The Oscars Presenters List is added with Gerard Butler, Bradley Cooper, Jake Gyllenhaal and Sam Worthington. As the last year’s Oscar winners Penelope Cruz, Sean Penn and Kate Winslet will return to present awards in their respective winning categories.

A number of Hollywood’s leading men will present awards at this Sunday’s 82nd Annual Oscars. ‘Star Trek’’s Chris Pine will also present, along with Keanu Reeves (in his fifth appearance) and fashion designer Tom Ford.

The event will be aired 8PM on ABC will feature presenters ranging from newbie stars to Hollywood legends starting from Zac Efron and Kristen Stewart to Barbra Streisand, Kathy Bates and John Travolta. Source: newmovieslist.com

* Zac Efron Addresses High School Musical 4: East Meets West Rumors

Zac Efron apparently hasn’t scrapped off any chance of him taking the Spider-Man role in the untitled Spider-Man reboot. Talking to 2Day FM’s Kyle and Jackie O Show, the 22-year-old actor gushed, “To be honest that would be a dream come true. I haven’t heard anything but of course any young actor would love to fill those shoes and they are big shoes to fill.”

The Troy Bolton of the “High School Musical” series was among the young stars, including David Henrie and Logan Lerman, that have been linked to the gig. He previously sounded off similar remark. “I don’t know what the chances are to be honest,” he said at 2010 Critics’ Choice Awards. “I assume they’re pretty slim. It’s a long-shot but if it came down to it, it’d be a dream come true. What young actor wouldn’t?”

Beside talking about his wish, the boyfriend of Vanessa Hudgens also took the opportunity to shoot down speculation suggesting him returning to “HSM”. “I don’t know what else we could do, we graduated High School,” he said. “It might be a bit redundant, we’re a bit too old and pretty soon what’s to stop us from doing Retirement Home Musical.”

Making his big break with the “HSM” series, Zac Efron went on to star in a number of feature films. “Hairspray”, “17 Again” and “Me and Orson Welles” are some of his movie credits. He will be seen portraying titular character in “Charlie St. Cloud”, which will come out in the U.S. on October 15. He is also attached to “Jonny Quest”. source

Zac Efron and Taylor Lautner will go head to head at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. Both have just recieved nominations in the Best Movie Actor category.

Oddly enough, Robert Pattinson didn’t recieve a nomination – we suppose organisers wanted a fair competition! Zac’s probably over the moon with the nomination after he left Disney’s family-friendly films behind for more serious films, such as Me and Orson Welles. But we’re guessing that Taylor Lautner isn’t so much happy as worried that he will bump into namesake and recent ex, Taylor Swift.

Congratulations to Zac for nomination! I’m so happy and I hope that Zac Efron will received Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice award!

* 15th october is new release date for charlie st. cloud

Universal Pictures has given updates on the release dates for some of its films. According to Box Office Mojo, the studio has announced October 15 as the U.S. release date for Zac Efron-starring drama mystery “Charlie St. Cloud”, which previously had not set exact schedule.

“Charlie St. Cloud” is a story about cemetery caretaker, played by Zac Efron, who has weekly meetings with his younger brother, whose accidental death he blames on himself. He meets a young woman (Amanda Crew) believed to be missing in a sailing accident and begins a romantic relationship with her but soon wonders if she is an apparition on the way to the next life.

Hello boys and girls! I’m so sorry for not many news here, but I still have a little problem with photo gallery. I think you know about it. I really don’t know when pictures archive will back without problems, errors etc., but I think it will be soon (I guess a reason is my hosting is changing servers), so please be patient!

I’ve added into photo gallery many high quality pictures from 3rd February, when Zac and his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens had a good time at the LA Lakers game. I’m sure that Zac was very happy, because his favourite team The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Charlotte Bobcats by the final score of 99-97 ;)

Zac Efron is set for a hot new role as a comic book hero in a big screen adaptation of graphic novel Fire. The High School Musical actor has signed up to star in the picture, which follows the story of a college student recruited by America’s Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), who then finds out he has been marked for termination by his employers. I’m really exicted, and you? :)

I know, that you read some gossips on Zac, for example, that Zac will be in ‘Spiderman’ or in other movies. I wouldn’t write about it on site, because I think that these news are fakes and I wouldn’t lie Zac’s fans on site.
